Abstrakt

The article discloses the importance of case-method, the relevance of its usage in the preparation of social educators, analyzes the peculiari-ties its usage in the process of professional preparation, provides exam-ples of the Western institutions of higher education actively using this method; types of case technologies are viewed and methodical recom-mendations of the development and usage of the case-method are given in the article.
