About the Journal
HIGHER EDUCATION OF UKRAINE IN THE CONTEXT OF INTEGRATION INTO THE EUROPEAN EDUCATIONAL SPACE (Education.UA) is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed scientific journal aimed at both experienced scientists and educators, as well as novice researchers and practitioners. Its pages publish articles on the problems of modern education from the point of view of pedagogical science and practice, as well as from the standpoint of humanities and related areas of social practice: history, psychology, sociology, philosophy, administrative and state management, etc. The magazine is published twice a year.

The magazine was launched in the year Ukraine signed the Bologna Declaration (2005), which led to a new stage in the development of the entire European education, and has been published regularly since 2006.
The mission of the publication from the beginning of its establishment was to reflect changes, events and circumstances in the field of higher education of Ukraine, related to intensive integration into the European and world educational space. To date, more than 90 issues have been published, which have become a kind of living historical chronicle of modern Ukrainian higher education, and even of Ukrainian education in general. More than 5,000 educators and scientists from 15 countries have already become authors of the magazine.
The main thematic directions of the publications are outlined, but are being expanded in accordance with the current requirements of today:
- Modern education in Ukraine, Europe and the world
- The Bologna process and prospects for the development of education in Ukraine, Europe and the world
- Management of the quality of education: experience and innovations
- Monitoring the quality of education: means and technologies
- The latest means of education and training: problems of implementation and standardization
- Modern educational management: economic and organizational means of implementation in Ukraine, Europe, and the world
- Psychological, pedagogical and organizational conditions for the introduction of European standards of higher education
- Philosophy and psychology of education
- The sequence of secondary and higher education as a pan-European standard
- Adult education and postgraduate education in Ukraine and the modern world
- Education in pandemic conditions: today's challenges
- etc.
The activity of the magazine was and is closely connected with the annual international forum of the same name - one of the largest in Europe on the issue of education, and is also accompanied by close cooperation with leading educational institutions and universities of Ukraine, Europe and the world. Throughout its long history, the magazine cooperated with various ground-level publishing projects, remaining an unchanged platform for the presentation of achievements and problems of Ukrainian and European education.
Since 2020, the magazine has been functioning as an independent periodical, which aims to expand its issues - in accordance with the requirements of today's higher education in Ukraine and education in general.
Publications in the journal can have a scientific-theoretical, scientific-practical or applied nature. Articles are published in Ukrainian, as well as in English, Polish, etc. languages The magazine is published twice a year in classic paper form, the electronic version of the current issue is published within 30 days after the publication of the printed version.
