Digital technologies in the English language learning within the primary school
Abstract
The article deals with the information and communication technologies to support the process of English language learning for those in the very early stages of education. This research examines the use of digital approaches, interactive technologies, educational programs and internet resources for primary English language teaching and learning. This research explores computers, talking books, talking photo albums, digital games, virtual worlds. Web 2.0 tools are used to challenge the problem of education informatization under the supervision of a confident teacher in the English language learning within the primary sector. The effective strategy depends on many factors: the age of the children, availability of resources, the school context, the competency of the teacher, etc.
