Methodical principles of education for the students of higher educational institutions of culture entertainment means music

Abstract

This publication deals with problem of teaching students of higher pedagogical educational establishments of leisure time culture by means of music art. The author conducted the detailed analysis of the works of modern scientists and educators on issues of “free time” and “leisure time” and proved that the culture of leisure time requires detailed study. The interpretation of the modern definitions in the sphere of leisure time culture allowed the author to form her own vision as for this concept. Considering the “leisure time culture “as an integrative personal quality, which is characterized by: awareness of students of the value of their own free time, familiarity with the effective methods of its organization, the need for artistic- creative self-realization and the ability for self-assessment of the effectiveness of the selected forms of their own leisure time activities, we identified a number of criteria and indicators of formedness of the leisure time culture of students and identified the low level of its manifestation of most of them. Realizing the urgency and significance of this problem, the author indicated the necessity of finding new, effective forms and methods of organization of educational work in higher education establishment. Within this publication we presented our own model of teaching students of higher pedagogical educational establishments of leisure time culture by means of music art and revealed its main organizational-methodological components (principles, pedagogical conditions, directions, forms and methods of organization of educational work), which are aimed at forming the conception of the world of students’ of higher educational pedagogical institutions, their system of value orientations, system of practical skills and the need for artistic-creative self-realization by means of music art in their free time; we carried out a brief analysis of the main content of the forms of extracurricular educational work, characterized the value and the structure of the music room as the dominant form of leisure time activities. The generalized analysis of the research results indicates that the identified pedagogical conditions, principles, methods and forms of organization of leisure time activities contributed to the organization of extracurricular educational work, taking into account the interests of modern students in accordance with their inclinations and preferences; systematic and purposeful involvement of the students to the best music masterpieces, acquaintance with the life and work of composers, conductors and artists provided the influence on the value sphere of students and formation of experience of system organization of their own leisure time activity.
