Abstract

Today, Ukraine needs highly qualified specialists that can successfully work in a real professional and international environment. Ukrainian pharmaceutical education is being reformation. Continuous professional education provides to increase of the professional competences of pharmacists with orientation to international educational standards, creates conditions for their development and creative self-realization. That increase the level of pharmaceutical services. The main ways of developing lifelong development of pharmacists in Ukraine are perfectioning of legislation and increase of number of licensed educational providers and the assortment of subjects that available for study. Also important are stimulation of informal education, developing a distance learning format, and formation a favorable environment of the pharmaceutical specialists’ professional development.
