The object of the research is Ukrainian scientists’ dissertation works from 2010 to 2019. The subject of research is the problem, which is revealed in the dissertation and the year of publication of scientific work. The purpose is to analyze the current research topics over the last decade and to outline the evolution of tourism education development during this period. The first half of the decade is characterized by the accumulation of theoretical knowledge and the bases’ formation for the training of qualified specialists. The topics, that should be given more attention in the following studies, are highlighted as a result of the study. Active digitization of the modern world leads to the formation of future specialists’ readiness to use the latest technological advances in their professional activity. The importance of general disciplines’ studying is not excluded, and together with the professional competencies’ formation shape the world outlook of a person, make it possible to outline the overall
