The article defines the concept of resourcebased learning as a set of forms, methods, and teaching tools aimed at a holistic approach to organizing the educational process. The notion of WebQuest is considered as an effective technology in the context of resource-based learning, outlining its key structural components.
Methods of working with WebQuests in Turkish language lessons in modern schools are proposed, and the advantages of this technology in developing students’ key competencies are analyzed, particularly in fostering critical thinking, research skills, and independent learning. Special attention is given to the role of WebQuests in creating an interactive educational environment and enhancing students’ cognitive activity. The distinctive features of WebQuests that differentiate them from project-based and distance learning methods are identified. The structure of the step-by-step implementation of this technology in the process of foreign language learning is outlined. Examples of using online platforms for designing and conducting lessons in the WebQuest format within the context of studying specific topics in the Turkish language are provided.
