Features of implementation of internet communicationin a professional activities of social workers

Abstrakt

The article describes the peculiarities of using Internet resources in the professional activity of social workers. It is stated that the main purpose of Internet communication in the professional activity of a social worker is: to assist person who is in a difficult life situation; dissemination of knowledge and skills development in society for prevention of healthy lifestyle, socially dangerous behavior, self-help and mutual assistance in case of violent actions, violation of citizens’ rights and freedoms, social support. For the virtual communication of the social worker it is necessary to possess such communication skills: tounderstand and perceive digital information, to build virtual relations, to develop individual tactics and strategy of behavior with the virtual interlocutor, to adequately respond to the actions of the interlocutor, to be able to self-present. Text on the Internet is a speaker’s self-presentation. The ability to write competently, clearly and concisely – indicates the literacy and professionalism of the social worker. The usage of verbal formulas – established linguistic constructions, through which interpersonal relationships are established and contact made – is facilitated by the avoidance of misunderstandings.
