Evaluation system in universities and university colleges of Sweden

The features of the evaluation system in the Swedish HEI’s are analyzed. The specifics of the quality assessment in higher education institutions of Lundand Gothenburg, Sweden are characterized. The swedish universities and university colleges are extremely competitive due to the achieved level of education quality. HEI’s are characterized by compliance with the requirements of time, dynamism, flexibility in making the appropriate educational decisions. There are open, democratic relations between students and teachers, which personal initiative and creative thinking are valued in the country’s higher education.The structure of the higher education system, the types of degrees awarded to those who study, and the quality of education are determined, regulated and monitored by the state that is indicatad by the author. The usual workload is 30 credits (ECTS) per semester or 60 credits per academic year.The possibilities of implementation of the experience of the Swedish HEI’s in the domestic system of higher education are determined.
