Use of Power Point as one of the newest means of teaching in foreign language classes of professional orientation

Abstrakt

Nowadays the use of computers in the classroom is a justified and integral part of the educational process. First of all, this is due to the possibility of presenting educational information of the theoretical plan not just in the text form, but also almost simultaneously testing of theory in practice during working with presentations and interactive games, which, in turn, allows to cover different types of speech activities. In addition, the stimulation of curiosity and excitement which will undoubtedly arise during interactive games and the use of Power Point in foreign language classes help to increase motivation among students and improve the quality of knowledge acquisition. Secondly, artificial design of situations for the use of new vocabulary, grammatical structures in conditions as close as possible to direct communication in a foreign language with a native speaker, allows to reveal the creative potential of the student and improve his socio-cultural communicative skills. The article proves the feasibility of using PowerPoint as one of the most modern ways of teaching in professional foreign language classes, as well as the options for interactive games that can be used to work with each student individually or as a team in an academic group.
