Use of information and communication technologies for assessment of future bachelors’ in applied mechanics English lexical competence
Abstract
The article studies the issue of using information and communication technologies for the assessment of future bachelors’ in applied mechanics English lexical competence within the framework of distance learning. The concepts of information and communication technologies and English lexical competence are defined. Classification, review and comparative analysis of modern online platforms and services are offered. Services for conducting video conferences, platforms for testing or assigning and checking tasks, platforms and services for demonstrating presentations and tasks, platforms that provide a cloud environment, and resources for gamification of learning are described. Also provided are the results of a student survey on the convenience of using online resources for the assessment of future bachelors’ in applied mechanics English lexical competence, as well as the challenges associated with them.
