The effectiveness of the Career Center as a social phenomenon

Аннотация

The article describes the indicators and preconditions of effectiveness of the career center. Competitiveness of graduates in an occupation education is an important indicator of the reputation of institutions of higher education in the labor market. To achieve the objectives of the career centers need to solve the following tasks: creation of prerequisites for professional advice, modeling information of students’ motivation, organization of teaching and professional activities, conducting monitoring studies, practical training of future graduates of institutions of higher education. It is determined that an integral part of the activities of career centers, as a modern social phenomenon is the socio-pedagogical and socio-psychological support of students. In the framework of socio-pedagogical support of students is a successful adaptation, based on the recommendation of a psychologist and/or social worker career center for teachers, to improve the organization of the educational process. The result of psycho-pedagogical interaction changes the nature of the educational relationship between student and teacher. At that time, as social and psychological support is not only mediated, but also direct interaction of the moderator of the career center with students. One of the directions of social-psychological support of students is the development of adaptive capacity, and on this basis the optimization of the process of adaptation of students to learning environment in institutions of higher education, formed long-term and far-reaching motivation to self-identity as a quality specialist and as a competitive professional.
