Psychological meanings of inhibition as a factor of psychological violence in educational environment

Abstract

The article focuses on the study of one of the urgent problems of the present – the psychological security of educational environment in higher education institutions during the interaction of its participants, one of whose indicators are protection against psychological violence in the interaction teacher-student. The article states that the main threat in interpersonal interaction in the educational environment is the possibility of psychological trauma, which results in the damage of a positive development of a young man and his mental health. However, in scientific literature it is not enough to study the problem of psychological safety of students in HEI. According to the authors, this does not indicate the absence of problems of this kind, but only their lack of relevance in the academic environment and the impairment of psychological security for educational services. The main characteristics and the most common reasons for psychological security in higher education institutions are analyzed, the notion of psychological violence, emotional abuse, as a form of mistreatment of educational services applicants is considered. The article considers consequences of psychological violence in the form of stress, social isolation, prolonged depression and anxiety of abuse victims. Artificial methods used by the teacher-inhibitor to gain authority and prestige, which are often affected by educational services, are described. It is pointed out that the problem of violence in its various manifestations, and the government, including the legitimization of aggression in the society, and reduction of the risks of formation and manifestations of these phenomena is a nationwide task.
