Artificial intelligence in foreign language training of students of higher education institutions
Abstract
The article describes the main characteristics and principles of the artificial intelligence application in the education and students’ foreign languages training. The importance of artificial intelligence in providing a learner-centered approach to foreign language learning and its role in enhancing students’ motivation for learning, productivity of the learning process in solving real life problems, in performing tasks creatively and providing an active and engaging environment for student learning is emphasized. The basic directions of its development and general questions related to problems of artificial intelligence creation are considered. The article provides different possibilities of having artificial intelligence in the language classroom to solve common communicative tasks when students are involved into creating their system of personal competences, to increase the students’ experience and productivity of the teaching process.
