Implementation of design projects using computer graphics in the educational process of a higher school

Abstract

In the article author describes the possibility of introducing computer-aided design projects into the educational process of a pedagogical university. Objectives of the article: to study and clarify the concepts of “computer graphics”, “design project”; to analyze the application of design projects in higher education institutions; to show the importance of implementation of design projects in higher education institutions. Learning by means of a design project rapidly accelerates the formation of culture, develops a spatio-temporal representation, a sense of respect for folk culture and socio-cultural outlook is formed. In design project work students are involved in search and design activities. The use of a design project enables the formation and development of research, communication, technological, information competencies, generates creativity, stimulates intellectual activity, develops communication skills, helps to form cross-curricular links, teachers the use of information and telecommunication technologies in the culture. Designing in education is the process of creating new forms of community of educators, students, the pedagogical community, new content and technologies of education, new ways and techniques of pedagogical activity and thinking. The object of design is to create conditions for the development of education as a whole, its transition from one state to another. In addition, all this increases the motivation of students, since in this case the design project becomes not a goal, but a means of shaping the artistic culture of future teachers. Even the weakest students can express themselves creatively by completing a design project with elements of their people’s culture. Thus, in organizing the project activities of future teachers of fine arts in modern education, the teacher must be thoroughly aware of the basics of project technology and comply with the requirements for the implementation, evaluation and protection of projects.
