Training future teachers for professional English-language communication in war conditions

The orientation of national higher education towards European standards involves the training of competent specialists capable of professional English-language communication. Therefore, the article describes the results of a study aimed at training future teachers for professional English-language communication in wartime. To achieve the goal, a set of methods was used: analysis of scientific sources, educational regulatory documents, questionnaires, interviews, graphic methods. The author analyses and reveals the peculiarities of the challenges of the educational process in higher education institutions in wartime. The article investigates the specifics of future teachers’ training for professional English-language communication in the context of distance learning. The analysis of the research results has shown that the most effective approaches to organizing the educational process for training future teachers in professional English communication are: emphasis on communication skills, preparation for teaching in extreme conditions, use of innovative technologies, cultural competence training, psychological training.
