Terminological dictionary of information competence
Abstract
The content of the concepts of “competence”, “competence”, “information competence” is explained in the article, the signs, types and stages of formation of information competence are explained. The definition of competence in the world educational practice, in psychological and pedagogical science, in the research of domestic and foreign scientists, who considered the problem of becoming and development of competence as one of the properties of personality, is considered. The graphic representation of interpretation of information competence of the person is presented. It is suggested to include the following definitions in the terminology dictionary of information competence: online journal, telecommunication etiquette, electronic resource, information retrieval service.
