Implementation of student-oriented principles within foreign language training of future tourism experts

Abstract

The article focuses on the results of the analysis of the ways to improve the quality of professional education on the example of foreign language training of future tourism experts within a student-centered approach. The essence of the “student-centeredness” concept is defined and the complex of its interrelated principles is
generalized. The factors of learning motivation of tourism students in terms of foreign language training are detailed in the research. The concept of needs analysis as an innovative approach to foreign language training is clarified, categories of needs analysts are outlined. It has been substantiated that implementation of the student-centeredness principles is essential for the formation of soft skills of future specialists.
