Social competence as an important component of students’ professional activity

Аннотация

The article analyzes the essence of the concepts “competence”, “competence approach” and “social competence”, defines the structure and content of competence, the main ways and conditions for its formation. The stages of formation of social competence are clearly and widely disseminated. On the basis of the conducted research with first-year students, a deep analysis of the problem of social competence formation was made, the main components were determined, the experimental stage of the experiment was conducted, which included a system of training sessions and discussions. According to the results of the study, the most effective forms of work with students on the formation of social competence was determined.
