Formation of motivation to study a foreign language in students of higher educational institutions

Abstract

In the article the factors of influence on motivation of studying of students of higher educational institutions have been analyzed. The factors ormotives that provide the purposefulness of the student’s activity have been described. Characterization of models of external and internal motivation and classification of learning motives have been introduced. The peculiarities of motivation in learning a foreign language have been highlighted.
