The importance of teaching reviewing the foreign professionally oriented scientific texts to future Masters at the non-linguistic higher educational establishments

Abstract

The future Masters must have a definite level of the information culture and use the certain methods of working with the foreign pro-fessionally oriented texts, which give the possibility to obtain the main information and accordingly use it in their activity. Reviewing as a creative speech and thinking process of the analytical processing of the text information is a necessary condition for teaching the future Masters to work with the professionally oriented texts, an important and effective method of raising the motivation of learning a foreign language by the students taking the Master’s Course, and means of the optimization of this process and forming the communi-cative competence of the future specialists. Reviewing the profes-sionally oriented texts makes it possible to control such skills of the students as defining the problem of the statement and its logic, determining the cause and result relations between the facts, the ability to compare the facts, revealing the argumentation of the state-ment, grouping the thoughts and facts, and summarizing what is written in the review.
